The planning of a development area for expansion of the Sola city center.

The project plans housing, a kindergarten, service offices, and infrastructure around public spaces and playgrounds. The planned density of housing is 5 units per. 1000 m2. The primary concept is to (combine, juxtapose, transpose, coalesce, or concentrate) the activity of urban density with the existing rural qualities. This idea originates in the old farmyards of the region where the housing is situated around public yards forming neighborhoods. A wide range of housing typologies offers a diverse housing supply.
First phase of development (January 2010): 110 passive housing units built in massive wood and a kindergarten.
