Speaks German, Norwegian, English, Spanish, French, some Portuguese
Although, as a child, I fantasized about becoming a writer, a musician or an inventor, I started my architecture studies in 1998 at RWTH Aachen, Germany. A year at the Escuela técnica superior de architectura de Madrid broadened my horizon. Internships in Berlin and in London. Different tutor jobs at the RWTH for freehand drawing, sculpting, designing. Foundation of ”Arge pixelpool” with a fellow student and our 2 tutors to continue to work on a won realization competition for new housing concepts for Salzburg. Diploma in 2005.
I began my professional life in 2005 with kadawittfeldarchitektur in Aachen (1st prize in a competition for the Celtic Museum in Hesse, amongst others), and with teaching design at RWTH Aachen.
After 3 years, I started to feel too settled and comfortable and decided to jump in at the deep end, which would be translated into German with ”jumping into the cold water”. Norway seemed to be appropriate.
Helen&Hard employed me in 2008 for the Norwegian Expo Pavilion in China, and I continued working there with Skadbergbakken (regulation plan, detailing and design of some one family houses), Tou Scene (feasibility study for a former brewery), design and detailing of house Mellemstrand, the realization of a treetoy for a kindergarten and more. Being a substitute teacher for Bylandskapet (CityLandscape) at the University in Stavanger was an exiting experience alongside.
Interested in: development of concepts, crossover thinking, interdisciplinary inspiration, site specific comprehension, formation of spaces, design.
From November, I will be part of the pioneer team in Oslo.
