Born in Salzburg, I studied at the University of Innsbruck and at RMIT in Melbourne. Finally, I decided to resist my natural instinct that led me to Australia three times already and I moved north – here I am.
My main professional interest is an experimental approach to architecture – in terms of complex concepts, but also in terms of building technology and interdisciplinary work.
In my previous projects I focused on the development of utopic architectonic scenarios that start off very narrative and are influenced by many different aspects, such as literature, graphic design and arts.
I´m also very interested in the transformation and mutation of space that includes the reuse and recycling of materials.
The work of Helen & Hard reflects all these aspects in many different ways. Since I joined the office in 2011 I had the chance to work on many different projects and drag my interests further on a professional level.
Less-professional, but passionate interests: arts and design, cooking, running, yoga, sewing, travelling.
